hilarious additions

As I was typing the first sentence of this post, I realized I should come up with a unique way to address the fans of my site, so here goes. You know how ICP fans are jugalos, Cold fans are the Cold Army, Dane Cook fans are freaks, Sum 41 has the goons, so g27 fans will be Gees. Yay, I just thought of that. Ok now onto the post.
First off, let me tell y’all about my new cam stuff. I’ve been going live a lot more, because I got a new cam program and my girl Amanda from Sugarhye is letting me use her server for my images because she gets unlimited bandwidth. Oh Amanda, you gotta love her. She is a sweet cutie with a good blog and nice site!
And now onto last nite. Last nite was the best nite I’ve had in weeks, prolly months. I went to Colin’s boy Dave’s house for his graduation party. Dave and Jeff and I have hung out once or twice before, but last nite was freaking great. Also this kid Aaron was there, he’s a cool cat. Sarcastic as hell and funny. We played some NBA Street Volume 2 (which by the way is the greatest bball game ever) and then went to this place called Escape. Each one of us was rocking our style. Jeff was the sporty bball jones kid, Colin was, well, the tall guy, Dace had this ghetto-ass visor headband and different colored shoes, and I rocked my fly fedora. It was a bowling alley/laser tag/pool hall. Pretty cool. We played about 4 games of ridiculous bowling – dancing, jumping around, going INSANE whenever anyone got a strike or spare, it was awesome. Our names on the screen were Colizzle, JMoney, Mmmonkey Pox, and The One. My name was Possoms… with the dots. It was great. After that, we walked around and I talked to pretty much ever girl in the place trying to get a HUGE game of Laser Tag going. We got like 4 people to play. Then 3 girls came in that Colin knew. One of them, Dana… WOW she was super fly. I took one look at her and was like DAMN you fine babeh! Colin made sure to tell her how fine I thought she was, oh Colizzle, always looking out for me. That’s why he is my partner in crime. Word up. Anyway, Laser Tag was sweet and I kept yelling “POSSOMS….!” it was hilarious. After that we got Wendy’s and ate it at Colin’s and talked about stupid crap. GOOD TIMES y’all. I haven’t laughed that much in one nite in a loooong time.
Susy is really cute… and she’s got a nice site… and she wants me… she rocks! I forget how I found her site, but we started talking and she’s a funny chick. I like her a lot, and she made me a FANSIGN!!! I love it when cute chicks made me fansigns!! Do you hear me, cute chicks?! So go check out Susy‘s super neato site. She’s a cutie and such, she deserves some traffic. And she wants me. Oh yes. Heheh. Aight I’m out for now, looks like I’m going to the mall with my boys later for some mischief. Speaking of mischief, I’m going to New Jersey this Thursday to see the Bad Boy Club.. man I can’t wait. I’ll post after this weekend.

**UPDATE: Tonite rocked. We caused chaos at the mall, and then Colin and I went mini-golfing and then went to eat at the Cubby Bear. We had *2* gorgeous waitresses! One was training the other one. They were really sweet and we flirted with em a bit. Man, they were fly… we left them our numbers. So, if Jamie or Becky are reading this, AIM/call me sometime! The four of us will go out… it’ll be a good time. Heh. Aight I’m out.

a fair share

So Nikki and I rented Equilibrium a few nites ago – it was way better than I expected. I saw the previews and it looked like a total Matrix ripoff, which it wasn’t, but when it was in theaters, my crew and I couldn’t find any local theaters playing it… pretty weird. The story was just ok, a few good twists, nothing exceptional. Christian Bale was a BADASS in this flick and he regulated on the fools standing in his way… and adopted a really cute lil’ puppy! The gun battles were ridiculously sweet. If you like action movies with a cool story, go rent it.
So I work on the north side of the greatest damn city in the world, Chicago. I don’t want any comments with “no way dude, New York/Detroit/LA/insert your big city here is the best city!”. Chicago is my city and I love it… I’m not saying it’s better than your city, I’m just saying I love it. So sit down. ANYway, I walk 45 minutes to and from work every day (well, 3x/week) through a good part of the city. I take different routes so I see new streets and stuff a lot. Also, yesterday, I met Colin outside my cuilding to have a power lunch at McDonalds. Heheh… we don’t even know what a power lunch is, but we call it that because we’re all dressed up for work and yet ordering cheeseburgers and stuff. Yesterday, between my walks and lunch at Water Tower Place, I must have seen 30 gorgeous women. Chicago really does have it’s fair share of fine ladies. I know Chitown isn’t known for it, but damn, if you were walking with me yesterday, you would have realized just how many beautiful women are walking around the streets of the City of Big Shoulders. Speaking of that, I need to start doing strength on my shoulders… get em a bit bigger.
Did anyone see this? I really want to see that kid perform, but not on the ‘Justified and Stripped’ tour… Christina sucks bad… and the tickets are like $65. But DAMN I wanna see this ‘Show After the Show’ thing… it sounds dope. Check out that MTV article I linked to… notice anything about him? He’s got my red white and blue wristband!! I had it first! JT is stealin’ my flava and I like it! How freaking sweet is that?
Yesterday I saw Carley for the first time since I’ve been home… she was standing in front of Matt’s house on her phone. It really upset me and pissed me off. I wish it didn’t have that effect on me. She really wants to see me or hang out with me or whatever, but I told her I really don’t want see either of them for a long time. Last nite I had a nightmare about it again and I really don’t want them to continue. It really messes up my day.
I’ve been going live on my cam a lot more, but I’ve gotten very little feedback or donations or anything like that… so I’m not sure that I should continue doing so. We’ll see.

takin’ it to the hole

I really don’t have that much to post about right now, but it has been too long since I gave you freaks an update. First off, I want to give a HUGE thanks to Acuarela Pibe for the Amazon Gift Certificate she got me. YOU ROCK HARD!!!! Everyone give her props for helping me keep this site going! Yaaay!
A few nites ago I went out with a girlfriend of mine and she was like ‘let’s go clubbing’ so I’m always up for that. But she took me to a club on ‘gay night’. She told me on the way there, so I had to prepare myself for it. She did tell me that straight people go that nite too, but it would be mostly gays and lesbians. It was pretty weird. I mean, I know club atmosphere well; skanky chicks grinding on dirty guys. This was all clean cut, attractive guys and boyish girls with crazy hair and big tanktops dancing with each other to music like Madonna and Barbie Girl. It was a bit unnerving to say the least, but the initial shock wore off after a few minutes, until I saw the bump. These two guys were trying to get past each other, and they bumped shoulders. Now, usually when you see this at a club, either they just give each other a look or go ‘watch it dude’ or something like that. These two guys went ‘oh sorry’ and then looked at each other, realized they knew each other, and started making out. I was cracking up… just dying. I totally didn’t expect that. I’ve seen that situation a million times, and it has never produced those results. Quite an experience.
Yesterday I played basketball with Colin and two of his boys, Dave and Jeff. We played a little 2 on 2, then two other kids joined us for 3 on 3, and then two others for a big full court game of 4 on 4. It was the four of us versus the 4 kids that were at the court. We regulated. Colin is 6’5″ and has hops and can shoot and ballhandle and block like a mofo, Jeff is like freakin’ Kobe Bryant with dribbling and faking and driving, and Dave plays good defense and has a nice shot. I, on the other hand, SUCK at shooting. It would be embarrassing if I weren’t good at blocking and passing and faking and stuff like that. WOW do I suck at shooting. Nevertheless, we played a great game and beat them by a lot. Good times. I should play more games with Colin… we’re a good team.
My parents are going out of town next weekend, Colin is most likely gonna stay here both nites so we can go out on adventures and make mischief around town and what not. It’s gonna be sick. I’m gonna go watch Equilibrium at Nikki’s.

punk rock show graduate

So if you’ve kept up with my site, you’ll know that my laptop has been messed up for a while and I couldn’t really post until now. Well, I finally got my laptop back yesterday and I’m happy to present this delayed but stellar post to y’all. Lots of big happenings. I’ll try to do this chronologically.
Last week on Friday my homey Nikki came to Colorado to see her Uncle and to see the Civic Tour with me. She arrived, we chilled in my dorm for a lil while, and then it was time for the show. We drove to Red Rocks, aka “The Coolest Freaking Concert Venue In The History of The World”. And on the way we saw a dope Ferrari. What am I saying? All Ferraris are dope. Anyway, we got to Red Rocks and I got a couple shots of the girls and I taking the hike up to get in line. The line looks enormous, but it wasn’t that bad and moved quickly. I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised to see so many 14 year old girls – I personally don’t see Good Charlotte as hot, because, well… hmm… I like girls. Anyway, we found some good seats in the 19th row right center. There was no pit, just a few little bleachers (that’s a really weird word, because those metal risers you stand on don’t ‘bleach’ anything…. ah whatever) that were packed with people. It would have been sweet to be that close, but being that cramped and having to stand up for 5 straight hours would have sucked. Our seats were good enough. Stretch Armstrong came on, and I had never heard them before. They were ok… too much yelling, I couldn’t understand what the guy was saying. The great thing about their set was that it was their last date on the tour. The 3 other bands (MxPx, Good Charlotte and New Found Glory) came out and attacked them with Silly String… and then, get this, they all did a cover of “Melt With You” by New English! Everyone was totally surprised and cheering like crazy.
Next up was MxPx. I have their Live At The Show CD, and I like it, but I’m into them a lot more now that I saw them live. There are only 3 people in the band, but they rocked. The lead singer sort of looks like Phanton Phreak from Hackers. He was going crazy and jumping over the amps and stuff with his guitar. They certainly were having a lot of fun on stage.
Now it was time for Good Charlotte. I am a big fan of theirs because they have catchy songs and Joel and Benji have a lot of personality and really tight melody/harmony. Colin and I sing Motivation Proclamation in the car a lot….good times. For the first few songs, Benji was nowhere to be found, and Joel didn’t say anything about it for about 8 minutes into their set. Finally he said “I’m sure you’re all wondering where Benji is. Let’s see if we can get him out here. Everyone scream, “Where are you, Benji?!” And everyone did. He came out a minute later to the shrieks of the little girls… it was ear piercing. He took the mic and prefaced his mini-speech with “I don’t even know if you guys can understand me right now, my mouth is completely numb. I just came from the dentist, I had to get a tooth pulled during the show.” Everyone was impressed that he would come straight from the dentist after such a painful procedure and then rock the crap outta the place. Good commitment, Benj. Good Charlotte’s set rocked and they played my favorite song, Waldorfworldwide. Nikki and I had been jumping around and moshing and singing the whole nite, and we were starting to get tired near the end of their set.
Finally, New Found Glory exploded onto the stage and everyone went insane… I know I did. Despite being exhausted from moshing around for 4 hours, NFG energized the crowd and played their hearts out. Everyone sang along, everyone jumped around and waved their horns, it was like one big happy pop punk family. Colored, spiky hair everywhere, girls in wife beaters and glitter all over their faces, it was a great feeling. To be around so many pop punk kids felt great. NFG talked to the crowd a lot, made jokes, jumped off stage, skanked around, and even played a quick cover of “In Da Club” by 50 cent! Jordan said that 50 cent was nothing special and that he himself was 65 cent, then apologized in fear that 50 would show up at his door with a freshly loaded gun and a taste for revenge. NFG put on the best show by far, and I was glad to be there for the not as pop band, unlike the thousands of little girls only there to swoon over Joel and Benji of GC.
After the concert, Nikki and I were EXHAUSTED and really hungry, so we went to Perkins at around 1am. My boy Justin came in with his band and we talked to them for a few minutes. Justin is a good kid, and his band isn’t bad either. They’re called Auggie’s STD. Pretty good, huh? Anyway, Nikki and I couldn’t hear much so we were talking really loud and didn’t notice for a few minutes, which was hilarious. When we got back to my dorm, we have to leave for the airport 4 hours later, and it was really hot in my room, so we just laid in my bed and didn’t get a moment of sleep. At 6am when it was time to leave for the airport, we were both zombies but somehow made our way there. Nikki dropped my off and drove back to Boulder to hang out with her uncle and go hiking… Nikki is an iron woman. Hear her roar. Heheh.
So I flew to Providence, Rhode Island for my sister’s graduation. I did a handstand in the airplane bathroom mid-flight… don’t ask. I’ve been doing that just for fun for years, and I have no idea how I thought of it. I crouch on the toilet, put my hands on the floor, then kick up into a handstand so my feet touch the ceiling. I immediately start laughing when I think about how ridiculous it is, so I usually have to come down pretty quickly so I don’t fall on my face from cracking up. Anna’s graduation was ridiculous – it was POURING all day. They have this procession around the campus, all the teachers, alums, grads from past years, med students, everyone. And they all had umbrellas and were still soaked. Later, the president was speaking under a little canopy to the grads, and was trying to cheer everyone up from the rain during her speech to lighten the mood. Near the end of her speech, she said “Ok everyone, I’d like for you all to join me in singing the alma mater….::long pause, president looks around::…. Oh, I think the band left.” Everyone was cracking up. So Anna graduated from Brown with honors, nice job to my big sis!
On the airplane ride back to Denver, I did a handstand in the bathroom as always, but that certainly wasn’t the highlight of the flight. I was sitting in the terminal, waiting for my flight, and this cute chick with a cowboy hat walks past me, stops, turns around, and sits two seats away from me. It was a good sign, but I just kept rockin’ out to MxPx on my headphones in my seat. After all the special people get on the plane, I finally board and the girl is still sitting there. I sit down in my aisle seat, and it was only two on my side so the other one was the window seat. The whole plane was full except for that window seat. That girl gets on board and where does she sit? Right next to me. I was like ‘Sweeet! The one cute chick on the plane is next to me!’ After a little while, I started a conversation and we ended up talking for the whole flight. Kelly from Illinois, now lives in Colorado. She was a funny chick, and it was great to have someone to talk to for the whole flight. So, big shoutout to Kelly… I should email her today, heh.
Finals week was a little weird. Tests weren’t too bad, but I had to study and pack up all my stuff and store a lot in boxes and clean out my room. Googs left on Wednesday, and I was leaving on Friday, so I had some time to clean up and what not. In the midst of all this, Stephie(remember? That cute chick I saw Zebrahead with a few posts back?) and I did a mini photo shoot of her. She needed headshots for dance auditions and stuff, and I was happy to help her out with them. That was fun. I had to move my desk and bed back to their original positions, so my room was a ridiculous mess and it was quite a project to tackle, but I finally got out of there and I’m home. It’s great to be back; better food and bed, get to see my family, chill with Colin and Kent and other friends, it’s great. I hope to have some good new stuff to post about… maybe I’ll write a big post about where I work soon. Stay tuned.
