Peety’s Playhouse is on tonite – Tuesday, January 13 at 8-10pm Mountain Time. Figure out your local time. You can listen at http://kvdu.du.edu – please tune in and tell your friends!
Having a crush is one of life’s little pleasures. I have recently found myself having various crushes on girls simply because during the little conversation that we’ve had, they’ve shown just a few of the personality traits that I am most attracted to. Silly and laid-back, confident, mature and smart, or sweeter than a Pixie Stick covered in, well, more Pixie Stick dust. Personally, a girl’s most attractive quality(besides having a look that catches my eye) is humor. If a cute chick can consistently make me laugh, I can’t help but have a little crush on them. I know plenty of girls with a few of these qualities each, but very few that fit into all the categories. My friend Megan is one of the rare finds that is like a female version of myself. I love the girl, she’s brilliant and funny and clever and cute as a button. She makes me laugh hard on a daily basis over IM. All you girls out there should follow her every move for a week and take notes. Oh, and she can sing. But of course she has a boyfriend. She has to have a boyfriend, how could she not? I’m sure he’s a great guy, I don’t believe that she’s one of those girls who would go out with a guy who doesn’t treat them right. ::shakes fist towards sky:: Damn you, fate! Daaaaamn you! But I digress.
Being back at school is nice. I had missed my room – coming home to my space is a great feeling(oh, and on that note, Myspace is a really cool online friendship network, like Friendster, but more robust. Go join, tell ‘em Peety sentcha). No one else goes in my room during the day unless I want them in there. Everything is where I put it, the little fridge has my food in it(last year Googs always had our fridge brimming with 40s), and no roommate is there to ask me to turn my music down or turn off my study light or anything like that.
Should I go abroad to Australia next year? Should I be an RTA again? An RA? Grr, I hate making serious decisions. Oh well.
